Difficulty: beginner / advanced beginner The block is made with traditional piecing techniques, just squares and rectangles, no paper piecing, no curves. The quilt blocks contains many pieces and some are very small (unfinished 1" x 1", finished ½" x ½"), so an accurate ¼ inch seam is advised.
